Personal Details

Ruth and Malcolm Knight both share a love of the river.

Ruth, who provided the on board catering on MV ‘Lord Aragorn’, has many years experience having catered for the business men at Heathrow Airport (Terminal 2 Business Centre) and the ever hungry members of the Skiff & Punting club at Thames Ditton and co-ordinated conferences at the 'Holiday Inn', Kensington.

Malcolm who retired from the Metropolitan Police Service in 1998 after serving for 25 years in various departments - he can regale you with 'war' stories for hours!

Their common interest on the river is the art of Skiffing in which they have both achieved high standard. Malcolm has taken it to extremes with non-stop rows down the length of the River Thames, for 24 hours, across the Channel and from London to Paris with Ruth leading the support teams on each occasion.
