These conditions govern the hiring of any vessel from Aragorn Enterprises on the date, for the period and function specified.

These conditions supersede all previous conditions and shall apply to all hiring of the vessel and may only be altered with the written consent of Aragorn Enterprises.

No booking will be confirmed until a completed and signed copy of the ‘Booking Form’ indicating your acceptance of the ‘Terms & Conditions’ has been received and accepted by Aragorn Enterprises.

All bookings with specific agreed prices shall be confirmed in writing to the hirer by Aragorn Enterprises.

The person named on the booking form shall be considered the hirer. Where two or more persons are named they shall each be considered the hirer and shall be jointly and severally liable under these conditions.

The hirer is required to pay a deposit of 25% of the boat hire and pier charges (where applicable) to confirm the booking (hereafter called ‘the deposit’) when returning the booking form.

Seven (7) days prior to the date of the function the hirer shall confirm to Aragorn Enterprises the minimum numbers expected.

If the deposit is not paid thirty (30) days prior to the function Aragorn Enterprises may immediately cancel the booking.

The hirer undertakes to pay Aragorn Enterprises all sums due to Aragorn Enterprises within thirty (30) days of receiving an invoice from Aragorn Enterprises in respect of such sums.

If the invoice is not paid in accordance with the above clause Aragorn Enterprises will charge interest on the balance due at the rate of one percent (1%) per thirty (30) days from the date of invoice until the date of payment before or after judgement.

At the time of booking the hirer shall state as accurately as possible to Aragorn Enterprises the number of persons expected to attend the function.

If the hirer has cause to cancel the booking the deposit is not refundable unless by prior agreement with Aragorn Enterprises.

Should the cancellation occur within thirty (30) days of the date of the booking then the hirer will be liable for the balance of the charter cost if the vessel cannot be re-let.

A cancellation received within seventy-two (72) hours of the booking date will also incur the liability of all previously agreed catering costs.

The nature of the function shall be notified to Aragorn Enterprises at the time of the booking and Aragorn Enterprises may, at its absolute discretion and without giving any reason, refuse to accept the booking from the hirer.

Nothing may be affixed to any part of the vessel by any means whatsoever without prior written consent of Aragorn Enterprises.

Any charges for the supply of catering or beverages (including alcohol) will be made as specified at the time of hiring and as agreed on the booking form.

The hirer is not permitted to take on board any beverage at any time during the hiring without prior arrangement with Aragorn Enterprises.

Should the hirer have any comments concerning the function during the charter the Captain or other member of the crew will be available to discuss them with the hirer.

Throughout the period of the hiring the vessel will remain at all times under the complete control of the Captain and crew. If for weather, tidal or other reason the Captain considers it necessary to vary the schedule of the charter their decision will be final.

The Captain will endeavour to bring the vessel alongside fifteen (15) minutes before the stated times on the booking form to facilitate the embarkation and disembarkation of the hirer and their party.

The hirer shall be liable for any loss or damage to the vessel, its equipment or fittings caused by the hirer or any person in the hirers’ party. Any glass, cutlery or crockery broken or removed from the vessel will be charged to the hirer at cost price.

Aragorn Enterprises reserve the right to demand a security deposit that will be refundable, less the cost of any breakage’s or losses, after the completion of the charter.

All prices are subject to change without notification.

All quotations are guaranteed for sixty (60) days from the date of the offer.
